Projects provides a complete history of your prompts, so you can review past interactions and restore your project to any previous state. Each prompt creates a restore point to safely experiment and revert to any prior state of your app.
Before you can use the History tab, make sure you have:
- A Builder account with a Fusion Space.
- Created an app from a prompt, connected an existing repository, or imported from Figma.
The History tab shows all previous prompts sent to the AI and provides options to restore the app to any previous state. To access your chat history:
- In a Project, go to the Generate tab.
- Within the Generate tab, click the History tab to display the prompt history.
The History tab displays all restoration points from your current session, while the Chat tab returns you to active conversations.

Chat history displays a timeline of all prompts sent to the AI, with corresponding timestamps. Each entry includes the prompt and an option to restore the app to a previous state. The timeline also provides a prompt search for quick access.
Use the search field in the History tab to find specific prompts. Enter keywords related to the topic, such as Logo, Contrast, or Hero section.
Search results display the number of matching prompts and highlight each relevant entry in the timeline.
To revert the app to an earlier state:
- Open the History tab and locate the prompt to restore.
- Click Restore to this point next to the selected prompt.
- In the confirmation dialog, choose to cancel or confirm the restoration.
Restoring reverts all changes made after the selected point, including visual design edits, code updates, content changes, and layout modifications. Chat history remains intact, but edits after the restore point are discarded.

A message in the AI chat can be bookmarked for later reference. To bookmark a point in your AI chat:
- After the AI completes a response to your request, two icons display at the bottom left of the message—a copy icon and a bookmark icon. Click the bookmark icon.
- To access your bookmarks, go to the History tab.
- To filter for only bookmarked messages, click the bookmark icon in the History tab in the Search field.
- To return your project to the state of a bookmark, click Restore to this point for the given bookmark.
The video below shows creating a bookmark and reverting to that state.
To remove a bookmark, click the bookmark icon again. This returns it to its default, unbookmarked state and removes it from your bookmarked entries.
Additionally, you can move from one state to another in history, by clicking on Restore to this point, whether the point is bookmarked or not.
