By marking your existing Symbol as global, you can share it across all Spaces in your Organization.

  • When using a Gen 1 SDK, make Symbols global to share Symbols across different spaces within an Organization.

Before you can use your Symbol globally, you must:

To share a Symbol across Spaces in your Organization:

  1. Open your Symbol.
  2. Make sure you've published your Symbol by clicking the Publish button.
  3. Click the three dots in the upper right corner and select Mark as a global symbol.

To use a global Symbol across Spaces in your Organization:

  1. In another Space in the same Organization, open a content entry, such as a Page.
  2. In the Insert tab, go to Code and drag in a Symbol block.
  3. Click the Edit button on the Symbol block.
  4. For the Model, choose Global Symbol.
  5. For the Entry, choose your symbol that you made global.
