Once you can access data from within Builder, connect your data to a content entry using the Data tab.
Note: This doc assumes you are connecting to data you stored within Builder, which is detailed in Create Data. For more information on connecting external data, see Connect Existing Data.
- Connect individual data entries or a list of entries within the Data tab of the Visual Editor.
Data binding takes place within the Data tab of the Visual Editor. On a Builder content entry, choose your data using the Connect Data panel with the following steps:
- Click the Data tab. This tab has an icon resembling a cylinder with two lines across it.
- Click the Connect Data panel.
- Click + Add Data.
- Choose Builder.io as your data source.
- Select a Data model to connect to your Page.
You have the option of filtering data by Entry or by Query.
- To select a single data entry, choose Entry.
- To select a list of entries associated with a Data Model, choose Query.
If you choose Query, you will be presented with a few options for how to query your data. These options are covered in more detail in Bind Data.
