The activity log gives Space-level admins access content and configuration changes within a Space. It functions as a timeline of recent activities, making it easier to see what has changed, when, and by whom.
You must be a Space-level admin to use the Activity log.
To open the Activity Log:
- Go to your Space Settings.
- Click the Activity Log tab at the top, which opens a list of recent activities.
By default, the log shows the last 30 days of activity with 25 entries at a time (expandable to 100). Each entry includes:
- The actions performed
- An icon representing the action. Hover for details.
- The user who made the change
- The time and date of the action
- A link to the changes
The video below shows accessing the Activity Log and the mouse points to the various filters and features you can use to focus your search.
Entries that involve content or models provide direct links, so admins can jump straight to the affected resource. In this way, the log is a record as well as a shortcut to investigating changes.
The activity log includes built-in filtering for clarity:
- Filter by type: narrow the view to only content, or Space changes.
- Filter by user: display changes made by specific team members.Filtering applies to the displayed entries only (not a server-wide search).
Scenarios where the Activity Log is helpful include:
- A contributor was promoted to developer—the role changes in the log. For more context, visit Roles and Permissions.
- A new workflow was added to the Space—the log shows when it was added and by whom.
- A content model was deleted—you’ll know who deleted it and when, with a link to view related resources.
