Edit or cancel your Space's subscription by following the instructions on this page.

This page refers to options available to self-serve subscriptions. Enterprise subscriptions are managed by your account team.

If your Space is currently using the Free tier, you can upgrade your Space by doing the following:

  1. Go to your Space Settings.
  2. Click the Subscription tab.
  3. Choose your subscription plan and then press the Select and Customize button.
  4. Adjust your plan's settings as needed before entering your payment information.

Your plan's payment settings will depend upon the type of Space.

Fusion Spaces have the following payment settings:

  • Number of seats: each subscription includes 1 user seat. Additional users added to the space increase the subscription cost.
  • Agent credits per month: each subscription includes 500 AI credits. Additional credits added to the space increase the subscription cost.

Publish Spaces have the following payment settings:

  • Number of seats: each subscription includes 1 user seat. Additional users added to the space increase the subscription cost.
  • Volume per month: defines the amount of views and bandwidth your account will have access to. A Builder visual view is any page view to your site with visual content that makes use of Builder.
  • Agent credits per month: each subscription includes 500 AI credits. Additional credits added to the space increase the subscription cost.

To change the subscription plan for a Space:

  1. Go to your Space Settings.
  2. Click the Subscription tab.
  3. Click Edit or Change Plan.
  4. To update your current plan, click the button that says Edit Plan Settings. Otherwise, choose your new plan from the available list of plans for your Space.

If you need to cancel your subscription for a Space:

  1. Go to your Space Settings.
  2. Click the Subscription tab.
  3. Click Manage Subscription.
  4. Choose Cancel Plan.

If you need to request a refund, you first need to cancel your subscription. Follow the instructions above to cancel your subscription.

Once your plan has been canceled, contact support@builder.io to request a refund, describing the situation. The support team reviews refund requests and, upon verifying the change to your plan and your request, initiates refunds as needed.

When contacting support, please include:

  • Confirmation that you have canceled your subscription
  • Your receipt or invoice number, if available
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Your Space Public API key, which can be found in your Space Settings

Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, though it can take up to 10-15 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.

There is no automated process for transferring your subscription plan to a different Space.

If you need to transfer your subscription to a different Space, follow the instructions above on requesting a refund. You can then purchase a new subscription plan for your other Space.

Keep in mind the following throughout this process:

  • You cannot use credits from one Space in another Space. Each Space's subscription and credits are separate.
  • Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, though it can take up to 10-15 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • When you cancel your subscription, it remains active until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, your account will move to the Free plan at the end of the billing period.
  • Remember that subscriptions are tied to individual Spaces, not your Organization. Make sure you're managing the subscription in the correct Space.
