Creating Templates
In Builder, a Template is a reusable design element that you can drag and drop onto any page. You can create a Template for a single element, or a group of elements. You can even create a Template for an entire page. When you drag a Template onto your page, you can edit it there without changing the Template for other pages. If you want to create immutable reusable content, try Symbols.
To create your own reusable template, do the following:
First, select any layer in the Visual Editor main working area. Click the Layers tab, then click the layer you want to save.
Once you've chosen the Layer (element) you want to save as a Template, click the dropdown arrow to open the menu. Then choose Save as template. In this example, the Layer is a Text block.
Give your Template a name. If you have an Enterprise account, you can also decide if you want it to be available across your organization. Then click OK.
You can add tags to make it easy to find, add a screenshot, and set the Template's scope (only available in this space) if you want. Then click Save.
Using the Template
To use a Template, on the Insert tab click My Templates and drag your Template onto your page.
Here's how the new Template looks once inserted into the page.
