This doc covers the settings available in the Advanced Columns section of the Options tab.

Builder provides options for you to control the behavior of your columns with just a click. Under the hood, Builder uses Flexbox to lay out columns and choose their direction.

Using Builder's Advanced Columns settings, you can decide when your columns stack on top of each other: at tablet size, at phone size, or never.

Builder also provides settings in the Advanced Columns section to reverse the order of your columns when they're stacked, and a setting to change the space, or margins, between columns.

To find these settings, with the Columns block selected, open the Options tab and scroll down to Show Advanced. Click that button.

Once you open the Show Advanced section of the Columns Options you'll find a dropdown where you can choose at which screen size your columns will stack vertically. By default, they will stack at tablet size and smaller. However, you can choose to have them stack only if the screen is phone size, or you can never have them stack.

This video shows how to open the Columns advanced menu by selecting the Columns block. You can see that the block is selected by checking the Layers tab if you're unsure.

  1. With the Columns block selected, open the Options tab.
  2. Scroll down to Stack columns at: and use the dropdown to select the largest screen size at which the columns will stack.

Also in the Show Advanced section of the Columns Options you'll find a toggle button that reverses the order of your columns when stacked.

Toggling that switch to the on position causes the columns to appear in reverse order at the stacking screen size you selected in the stacking section.

This video below shows how to open the Columns advanced menu by selecting the Columns block. Again, you can see that the block is selected by checking the Layers tab if you like.

  1. With the Columns block selected, open the Options tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Reverse columns when stacked setting.
  3. Toggle the setting to reverse the order of your columns.

The final setting in the Show Advanced section of the Columns Options sets the space between columns.

This video in this section shows how to open the Columns advanced menu by selecting the Columns block. Again, you can see that the block is selected by checking the Layers tab if you like.

  1. With the Columns block selected, open the Options tab.
  2. Scroll down to the Space setting.
  3. Enter the space in pixels. The margins change as you type.

Now that you're working with the advanced features of Columns, you'll probably want to delve deeper into responsive design. Intro to Responsive Design is a great place to start.
