Slow time-to-market prevented Nuts.com from rapidly scaling seasonal campaigns

Nuts.com, a successful ecommerce company specializing in nuts, dried fruits, and other food products, faced significant hurdles with its content management system (CMS). As a seasonal business reliant on timely promotions and targeted landing pages, they struggled with an inefficient, in-house CMS that severely limited their ability to create and update content quickly.

  • Inefficient workflow: It still took time for someone to write code in an editor and transfer it into a copy/paste giant text area in another system.

  • Faster A/B testing: Despite having a dedicated experimentation platform, Dynamic Yield, the marketing team leverages Builder’s A/B testing capabilities to quickly spin up content experiments without impacting site performance. “Overall, the A/B testing has been crucial to trying new things safely. And we've seen a lot of the experiments that we run end up successful and picking them as winners,” Truby shared.
  • Increased personalization: Now, with Builder, Nuts.com’s homepage has at least three different versions targeted to different customer attributes at any given time and it’s all maintained by merchandisers.
